Our process begins and ends by trying to understand donors.
That’s why the first step for every client engagement begins with our Total Fundraising Review (TFR). The TFR is made up of:
Donor Data Diagnostic
We’ll audit and combine your data from various sources (CRM, web analytics, email platform, etc.) to get a clear picture of the performance of your fundraising.
Donor Experience Mapping

We’ll design and deploy a survey to your existing donors and use the results to inform a cultivation and stewardship strategy aimed at increasing recurring revenue, mid-level giving, major giving, and legacy giving.
Donor Insights Project
Data can tell us what the data is. But it can’t tell us why the data is. Only conversations can do that. We’ll identify key segments of donors to interview and use the qualitative findings to devise hypotheses for future testing.
Creating a growth plan
After listening and learning from your donors, the next phase of the TFR is to identify the best opportunities for growth.
Over a series of collaborative meetings, we will walk you through a clear 3-year growth plan with specific and actionable steps to meet your revenue goals.
Your Plan Will Include:
- A timeline with specific projects and initiatives to implement
- The highest-value growth opportunities to implement right away
